Washington DC

I am sitting here in my friend's Heather's apartment. I spent the last two days with her here in DC, doing some sight seeing and catching up. Tomorrow I will head down to Charlotte, NC.

Some things that came back to me:

- lots of quarters, instead of 1 or 2 Euro coins
- some of these with states on them, I still miss a few of these (North Dakota seems to be the latest release)
- VAT is not included on the price tag, it gets added by the cashier
- they drive on the right over here
- Everywhere I go (Germany, Spain, the US), I can't seem to get away from Irish pubs anymore. They are everywhere!
- I got KRISPY KREME :)

We also saw American University and walked around the inner city a bit. We didn't go inside any of the sights or museums (did a lot of that two years ago) Here just a few political landmarks:
