Finally something to blog about
The last week has been very busy and full of fun.
Last weekend, me and my flatmate Henrique took a plane over to Bristol. We did some sightseeing in Bath and Cardiff and then enjoyed the Madonna concert in Cardiff on Sunday. Then on Wednesday my parents came to visit me until today.
We left for Bristol very early last Saturday and got there around 8 am. We then took the train to Bath, a very pretty small city to the south east. There we visited the roman baths. It was amazing. It's hard to believe that parts of these ruins are almost 2000 years old. An ancient version of the modern swimming pool, fed by a hot spring.
Simply for the baths, this is well worth your time to visit. If you want more, you can also see the Abbey and some interesting architectural structures as well. More pictures here.

Then we headed back to Bristol for the night. The next morning we went to Cardiff to queue in line for the tickets.
We then went to the apartment we were sharing with two other people visiting from Dublin. Just to relax a bit and prepare for the concert.
We headed over to the Millenium Stadium about three pm. It is a very nice and modern stadium. Very impressive though it only holds some 60,000 people or so.
The concert itself was very good. Paul van Dyk opened for about an hour and then it was Madonna for about 2 hours straight. Check out some videos here.
On Monday we went to do some more sight seeing before heading back to Bristol. The main sight in Cardiff is the Cardiff Castle. More pictures here

All in all it was a very nice weekend. Lots of fun and still a good bit of relaxing.

I was wondering if it was possible that you spent more than a month doing absolutely nothing remarkable. Or maybe I'll just have to write less so you can have more time to write your own messages. I miss you. Very excited to see you in a little more than a month!
